Users needed to have a feeling of warmth and nostalgia towards the site. But, also to be thinking of possibilities for what their scrapbook could be and the many photos that they have stored away which should be preserved. The user also needed to be affirmed that this is a professional service, as opposed to something completely home made that you would find at a craft fair.

Memento by Keri is a company that designs and creates one of a kind scrapbooks for clients based off personal items and photos that the client provides.

To establish warmth and nostalgia we choose to design the site with characteristics of a scrapbook - texture and the appearance of tabbed pages. Time was taken to ensure the design did not become too cliche or overdone. This ensured that the site would not lean in the direction of craft fair art.
